Last Week I start on Coursera Course of America Through Foreign Eyes and I did complete my goal of moving on to the second week on course. I even went to the third week.

My short term goal is to work on my Coursera course for about 1 hour everyday until the school ends.

My long term goal is to make my DPU the best I can and pass this class with a good grade.

America Through Foreign Eyes is about how different cultures/nations think about the US. Also what we all think about different cultures. We all have a different mindset of everyone.Of cousre  everyone has a different opinions of thinking stuff. This course has 4 modules which are looking at America through being Chinese, Mexican, African, and French. And there are also 4 themes about Democracy and Modernity, Globalization and Capitalism, Racism and Immigration, And Intellectual  and Cultural Life. There are many stereotypes about different cultures. We have our own opinions about others. But what we as humans is hard to think something else. And once we have our own opinions it can create scandals/ battles with the other person with a different culture. When someone makes generalizations about other cultures it becomes a phobiaoranism. Which this was on the first week of on this course and I didnt explain myself well.

In the second week on the America Through Foreign Eyes was about the Chinese people and the relationship between the Americas when they have been evolved into a long and colorful history.  For them the friendship and collaboration was to antagonsim, suspicion and grudging the respect. Its important to remember that the Chinese people understanding of America is to contingnet upon the political, social, economic and cultural.

In the third week on the America Through Foreign Eyes is about Friends and Foe. As we know France and Germany were the world leaders resisting to the America campaign. They both claimed that Iraq did not posses weapons of mass destruction, they both turned out to be in the military action the worlds best interests. Most of the governments and the public opinions in the world were against the US invasion and the worldwide demonstrations took place in the 2003.

Thats all I got to.
